For events & festivals

Half your parking lot
is one person per car.

Attendees drive in from the same handful of cities, alone, and every one of them needs a space when they arrive. Seat Sherpa lets them share the drive at cost โ€” and it costs the event nothing to run.

How it works for events

No integration, no ticketing changes, and nothing for your team to administer.

1

Attendees driving in post their trip

Someone driving from the Bay Area to your festival lists the drive in about a minute, from a browser or the app.

2

Other attendees book the empty seats

Payment runs through the platform, so nobody's negotiating gas money with a stranger in a Facebook group.

3

We can set up a code and a page for your event

Share one link with ticket-holders. The code gives them a discount on their first ride and lets us report back how many rides it covered.

4

Unserved cities become visible

Attendees who can't find a ride post the trip they need, so drivers from that city can see the demand and offer seats.

Why events care

Three problems this touches without a budget line.

๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ Parking and ingress

Every filled seat is one fewer car in the queue and one fewer space to find. Fewer cars arriving is the whole mechanism โ€” nothing to integrate.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Attendance from further out

For some people the drive is the reason they don't come. A shared ride at cost makes a three-hour trip realistic for someone without a car.

๐ŸŒฑ A sustainability number you can report

Shared trips to your venue are countable. With an event code we can tell you how many rides and seats it covered.

What it costs

Nothing, to the event. Seat Sherpa is a consumer marketplace โ€” attendees post and book directly, and we take a small service fee on each booked seat. There's no contract, no license, no onboarding project, and nothing to change about your ticketing.

Seat prices are capped at the trip's shared driving cost (currently up to $55 a seat), because this is cost-sharing carpooling โ€” not a shuttle service and not a way for attendees to run a business.

Running an event this year?

Tell us the dates and the cities your attendees come from. We'll set up a code and a page for those routes, and you can see whether it gets traction before committing to anything.
